A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Most of my couples tell me the same thing - they want to feel present in their day, not like they’re stepping in and out of a photoshoot. My work is about capturing that feeling.

Blending documentary storytelling with a refined, editorial eye, I focus on the moments that happen naturally; the energy, the atmosphere and everything in between.

I’ve spent six years photographing weddings across the UK, Europe and Asia, documenting more than 300 celebrations for couples who value authenticity, discretion and storytelling.

My background in fashion informs how I photograph, but my priority is always how the day unfolds naturally, without cliché or performance.

You don’t need to know how to pose - that’s never been the point.

Originally from Yorkshire, I now live in Surrey with my husband, two small humans and our dogs. I can usually be found somewhere between the countryside and a plane to the next wedding.

What my couples value most

  • A sense of ease; nothing forced

  • The freedom to be fully present, knowing everything meaningful is being captured

  • Images that feel modern yet timeless, not focused on passing trends

Sustainability
My environmental commitment

As a wedding photographer, my work naturally comes with a carbon footprint, from travelling to weddings and staying overnight, to using professional equipment and the digital storage required to deliver and preserve your images. I think it’s important to acknowledge that impact and take responsibility for it.

Each year, I make dedicated donations to environmental charities that protect nature both locally and globally:

  • £100 donated to Woodland Trust, supporting the protection and restoration of native UK woodland

  • £100 donated to Rainforest Trust, helping safeguard threatened rainforests and the wildlife they support

Alongside this, I’m signed up with Carbon Neutral Britain, where I offset my business carbon footprint through certified carbon reduction projects.

Offsetting isn’t a perfect solution, but it’s one part of a wider effort to work more thoughtfully within the wedding industry, prioritising longevity, care and intention over excess.

KIND WORDS

Nicole & Kelsey

Paris, 2023

"We cannot say enough good things about Imogen. From our ease of communication with her to her very relaxed demeanour. We decided to elope fairly quickly in Paris and the entire morning was stress free and all about us.

We were absolutely blown away by our photographs. It was more than we could have ever envisioned for our photographs, they truly are magazine worthy.

We are so thankful for Imogen’s talent in capturing our intimate day"
